Best Joined Up

Is a live art and design event that draws together illustrators, graphic designers, aerosol artists, animators and doodlers. I went along to the opening night last month and it was one of the best nights out i've had since being in Leeds. It takes place on the third Friday of every month alongside the Nu Bohemia clubnight at the Faversham in Leeds, and i seriously recommend it.

'The Mother Of All Journeys'

Was a photography exhibition i stumbled across in my second week back in september at the New Briggate Gallery. Accompanying 'Madama Butterfly' at Opera North, it charted the passing of photographer Dinu Li's mother from China to the UK, as mother and son collaborated to piece together her memories of exact sites in China, Hong Kong, and Northern England. It fitted in nicely with our 'reportage' style project at the time.

Car Designs

From my work experience at the ARUP Campus in January '04 when i was 15. This was my first encounter with Photoshop, Alcohol Markers, a proper use for a black Bic Biro pen, and some shit-hot car designers.
