'The Mother Of All Journeys'

Was a photography exhibition i stumbled across in my second week back in september at the New Briggate Gallery. Accompanying 'Madama Butterfly' at Opera North, it charted the passing of photographer Dinu Li's mother from China to the UK, as mother and son collaborated to piece together her memories of exact sites in China, Hong Kong, and Northern England. It fitted in nicely with our 'reportage' style project at the time.
